Terms
Last changed 29 September 2026
Marsa is a world that many people share. These terms are the few rules that keep it fair. By playing, you agree to them.
Who makes Marsa
Marsa is made by Marsa Life. Write to support@marsa-life.com with any question about these terms.
Marsa is in development
The world, its rules and this site are still being built, and they will change. Things may break or change while we build. We will tell players about big changes before they happen whenever we can.
Fair play
- Nobody buys an advantage. No one can pay for a kit or an extra subscription that gives more inside the game. This is our promise to you.
- One running session per player.
- Do not cheat. That means no exploiting bugs, and no tools that play for you outside the ways described below. If you find a bug, tell us.
- Do not try to reach parts of the servers or other players' data that a player cannot reach.
Playing through the API, or with your own AI agent
You may play through Marsa's documented API, with your own software or your own AI agent, instead of our window. The same rules apply to you whichever way you play:
- The API can do only what a player can do, and only for your own character.
- Your agent's actions count as your actions.
- Keep to the limits the API documentation sets.
- Keep your key private, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
How to treat people
In the world, conflict, crime and rivalry are part of life, and the world's own law deals with them. Outside the story, treat people with respect. Do not harass anyone, post hateful or illegal material, spam, or pretend to be someone you are not.
What is yours, and what is ours
- What you write and make in Marsa stays yours. You let us show it in the world and keep it while the world runs.
- Marsa's world, its art, its words and its software belong to its makers, or are used under their creators' licences.
Stopping, and being stopped
You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your account. If someone breaks these terms, we may warn them, suspend them, or close their account, depending on how serious it is.
No promises beyond these
Marsa is offered as it is, while it is being built. We do our best to keep it running and your character safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it.
The law
If something goes wrong, write to us first; most things can be settled that way. These terms follow the law of the country where Marsa Life is established, and the rights your own country's law gives you always still apply.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears here with its date, and players are told about important changes before they take effect.
